- Salary: Part time - Circa £20k
SUMMARY
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Part-Time Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our business. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting while supporting the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
DESCRIPTION OF KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will be doing
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Chase payments and deposits from customers to ensure timely collections.
- Raise and bill purchase orders accurately.
- Conduct payables and receivables reconciliations.
Financial Processes
- Process payment runs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations across all accounts.
- Handle payroll processing, including CIS and pension contributions.
- Process CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) and VAT returns.
Reporting and Compliance
- Assist with preparing annual corporate accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Product and Inventory Management
- Inventory forecasting
- Update products on CRM
- Create SKUs and calculate landed costs for inventory.
- Maintain the master product spreadsheet, ensuring accuracy and real-time updates.
- Generate and share final invoices with customers.
- Create POs for stock inventory and for suppliers in alignment with sales order requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None. You’re a solo superhero in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven financial management experience.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

The ideal person will have the ability to manage their own work load and be able to prioritise work effectively as well as be self motivated

The candidate should be highly computer literate and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

They should be able to work under pressure whilst keeping a professional manner.

They should be able to build good relationships with customers and suppliers and have a high level of attention to detail.
