Stronger Wellness Spotlighted in HCM Magazine for Leading the Charge on Sustainable Fitness
We’re proud to be featured in HCM Magazine’s Green Issue this month – shining a light on how sustainability shapes what we do, how we think, and the choices we make every day.
As Elena shared with HCM, we’re not in the business of greenwashing or easy wins. We’re interested in the awkward questions – the ones that challenge the norm and force us to think differently.
Questions like:
- “What if we didn’t just accept the industry standard?”
- “What if we rethought this from the ground up?”
It’s these questions that guide how we:
- Choose better materials over conventional defaults
- Cut back on packaging (or eliminate it completely)
- Design equipment to last longer – even if that means tighter margins
This mindset carries through to all our processes. From smarter gym layouts that reduce waste to selecting long-lasting, low-impact materials, sustainability is embedded into every project we take on.
Sustainability for us isn’t a side project. It’s a core part of how we operate. That’s how we’ve gone beyond net-zero, working with real scientists to measure and reduce our impact – and continue improving as we grow.
We know metals and rubber aren’t easy materials to reinvent, but that doesn’t stop us. We keep pushing suppliers, rethinking product lifecycles, and helping our customers extend the use of their equipment, including introducing ways to reuse and recycle pieces like plyo boxes.
Our goal? Make smarter, better products that help our customers move toward sustainability too. We share what we learn along the way – from material choices to carbon offsetting – because we believe real progress happens when the whole industry moves forward together.
We’re not done. But we’re moving. And we’ll keep asking the hard questions until better becomes the new normal. Our ambition is simple, keep pushing for better and take operators along with us.
